About Centre of Hope
Centre of Hope is a registered NDIS provider supporting participants and families across Sydney. As we expand our Early Childhood supports, we are looking for experienced and passionate Early Childhood professionals to join our team on an ABN subcontractor basis.
We welcome applications from professionals with experience supporting children with developmental delay or disability and their families.
About the Role The successful practitioner will provide family-centred, strengths-based and developmentally appropriate supports to young children and their families.
Responsibilities may include
- Providing Early Childhood Intervention supports to NDIS participants
- Assessing children's developmental and functional needs within the practitioner’s professional scope
- Supporting children to develop skills in everyday environments
- Working collaboratively with parents, carers and families
- Developing individualised strategies based on the child's goals and developmental needs
- Supporting participation at home, childcare, preschool, school and within the community
- Providing coaching and capacity-building strategies to parents and carers
- Preparing progress reports, assessments and recommendations
- Attending stakeholder and multidisciplinary meetings where required
- Liaising with Support Coordinators and other allied health professionals
- Maintaining accurate progress notes and qualified documentation
- Delivering supports in accordance with NDIS requirements and best-practice Early Childhood approaches
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have
- Relevant recognised Early Childhood or other suitable professional qualification
- Experience working with children with developmental delay and/or disability
- Knowledge of family-centred and strengths-based practice
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current Australian driver licence
- Reliable vehicle
- ABN
- Appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams
Experience working within the NDIS Early Childhood approach will be highly regarded.
Contractor Arrangement
This is an ABN subcontractor opportunity and not an employee position.
Contractor remuneration is 55%–65% of applicable billable service fees, depending on qualifications, experience and demonstrated capability, plus GST where applicable.
Contractors are responsible for their own vehicle, fuel, tolls, parking, insurance, tax, equipment and general business expenses.
