About the role
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Part Time Diploma Qualified Educator on a temporary part-time basis (4 days per week) to join our team at Knox Children and Family Centres.
The Diploma Qualified Educator is required to work collaboratively across Family and Children’s Services to provide high quality early childhood education and care, meeting the individual needs and interests of children and families. In addition, Diploma Qualified Educators will prepare and implement educational programs for children aged 0-6 years within the guidelines of the National Quality Framework.
This is a part-time temporary role until 15 February 2028, based at our Early Years Hub.
This is a Band 4 classified role, remuneration will be from $76,469.33 to $81,249.95 (pro-rata for part time/fixed term) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.
What you will deliver in this role:
- Deliver high-quality, child-focused early childhood education and care programs that support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-6 years.
- Collaborate with educators, families and specialist services to plan, implement and continuously improve inclusive educational programs.
- Create safe, engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environments that promote children's strengths, interests and participation.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, providing excellent customer service and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Uphold child safety, regulatory requirements and Council policies while maintaining active supervision and supporting the wellbeing of all children in care.
What you will bring to this role The key selection criteria for this role are:
- Demonstrated understanding of National Education & Care Services National Regulations, Education & Care Services National Law Act and National & Victorian Early Years Learning & Development Frameworks.
- Commitment to providing high quality Education and Care programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with adults and children
