About the role

Early Childhood Teacher at Stirling Community Early Learning Centre, a not-for-profit childcare centre located in the Adelaide Hills. The centre is licensed for 54 places and has four rooms providing for children from 0-5 years old. The successful applicant will be responsible to the Centre's Director and will be responsible for ensuring quality care is provided to meet the individual and group needs of young children in a respectful, supportive, equitable and inclusive manner.

The position is five days per week.

Key responsibilities

- Ensure quality care is provided to meet the individual and group needs of young children in a respectful, supportive, equitable and inclusive manner

- Develop and implement a vibrant, interesting, varied and appropriate Kindergarten program to meet the ongoing needs of the children, in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)

- Uphold, implement and contribute to the philosophy, policies and procedures of the service through the Director, to meet relevant requirements

- Interact with children and families in a positive, sensitive and respectful manner

- Work with other team members in the inclusion, support and care of all children

- Conduct observation and reporting





- Undertake program and curriculum planning and evaluation

About you

- Approved Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

- Current registration with the Teacher's Registration Board of South Australia

- DCSI Police Clearance Certificate

- Current approved first aid qualification

- Successful completion of relevant Responding to Abuse and Neglect training

- Working with Children Check

- Food safety certificate

- Foundations of Child Safety Training (Course 1 and 2)

- Advanced Child Safety Training (Course 3 and 4)

- Ability to work with other team members in the inclusion, support and care of all children
