We are currently recruiting automotive repair and electric vehicle service professionals to carry out the inspection, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of electric vehicles and other passenger vehicles.

With the continued growth of electric vehicles in the Australian market, we particularly welcome candidates with experience in EVs / Hybrid Vehicles, high-voltage systems, automotive electrical systems, and vehicle diagnostics.

We also welcome experienced petrol and diesel vehicle technicians who are interested in developing their skills and transitioning into the EV service and repair sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine vehicle inspections, servicing, maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis.
- Inspect and troubleshoot electric vehicle systems.
- Use professional diagnostic equipment to read and analyse fault codes and vehicle data.
- Inspect and repair low-voltage electrical systems.
- Read and interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Carry out basic diagnostics on CAN/LIN vehicle communication networks.
- Inspect power battery systems and analyse Battery Management System (BMS) data.
- Assist with inspection, diagnosis, and repair of EV high-voltage systems.
- Inspect drive motors, electronic control systems, and other key EV components.
- Inspect charging systems and vehicle thermal management systems.
- Perform high-voltage-related work in accordance with relevant safety procedures.
- Use automotive repair tools, testing instruments, and professional diagnostic equipment.
- Accurately record vehicle inspections, diagnostic findings, and repair work.
- Work collaboratively with the workshop and service team to complete repair and after-sales service tasks.

What We Are Looking For We are seeking candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Automotive repair or mechanical servicing.




- Electric vehicle or hybrid vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Automotive electrical systems.
- Vehicle fault diagnosis.
- Power battery and BMS systems.
- EV high-voltage systems.
- CAN/LIN network diagnostics.
- Charging systems or thermal management systems.

Experience with traditional petrol or diesel vehicles is also highly regarded. Candidates currently working in ICE / Petrol / Diesel Vehicle Maintenance who are interested in transitioning into electric vehicle servicing are encouraged to apply. Further training and development opportunities may be available.

Essential Requirements

- Strong interest in automotive repair and electric vehicle technology.
- Good mechanical aptitude and practical hands-on skills.
- Ability to follow workshop procedures and safety requirements.
- Basic knowledge of automotive mechanical or electrical systems.
- Ability to use standard automotive repair tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and workmanship.
- Full working rights in Australia, or ability to meet the relevant employment requirements for the position.

Highly Regarded / Preferred The following qualifications and experience will be highly regarded:
- Qualifications or vocational training in Automotive, Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Automotive Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Experience servicing or repairing EVs or hybrid vehicles.
- EV high-voltage safety training.
- Experience inspecting or diagnosing power battery and BMS systems.




- Experience with CAN/LIN networks and automotive electronic diagnostics.
- Ability to read and interpret automotive wiring diagrams.
- Experience using skilled vehicle diagnostic equipment.
- Experience servicing Chinese EV brands such as BYD, MG, GWM, Chery, XPENG, Zeekr, NIO, Leapmotor, or similar brands.
- Previous experience in an automotive workshop, dealership, service centre, or after-sales environment.

Training Pathway AvailableEV Repair Training Pathway Candidates who do not currently have EV repair skills but are interested in developing a career in electric vehicle servicing are also encouraged to apply.

We work in cooperation with the China-Australia Talent Employment Association (CATEA) and may provide eligible candidates with access to professional automotive repair and electric vehicle technical training programs delivered in China.

This is a paid training program, and training may cover areas including:

- EV high-voltage safety procedures.
- Electric vehicle architecture and system identification.
- Low-voltage electrical system diagnostics.
- CAN/LIN vehicle network diagnostics.
- Automotive wiring diagram reading and analysis.
- Power battery and BMS inspection and diagnostics.
- Drive motor inspection and fault diagnosis.
- Charging system and thermal management system servicing.
- Integrated vehicle fault diagnosis.
- Hands-on practical vehicle repair training.

Upon successful completion of the relevant training and assessments, participants may receive a training completion certificate and/or competency-related certification and may then proceed to further employment and role suitability assessment in accordance with the requirements of the position. Training fees are payable by the participating candidate.

Pay: $64,000.00 – $84,000.00 per year
