The Opportunity
Based at our Ottoway SA Campus, this full-time position involves delivering practical and theory-based training and assessment to electrical apprentices.
For electricians moving into training for the first time, ATEC can provide ongoing mentoring and support while you develop your skills as a Trainer/Assessor and complete the required training qualification.

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Electrical trade qualifications
- Current/relevant electrical industry experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in teaching, mentoring and developing apprentices
Desirable – but not essential:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
- Previous training, supervising, coaching or mentoring experience
- Experience working with apprentices
Don't have your TAE?
That's okay. We welcome applications from qualified electricians who are willing to obtain their Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and transition into a training career.
Salary & Perks
$95,000 – $105,000, based on experience and qualifications
