We're partnering with a well-established, locally owned Perth electrical contractor. They're looking for an experienced residential electrician to join their growing team.
About the business
This is a Perth business, not a national franchise. It's been built on reputation and repeat work. They work across residential and commercial, with a steady pipeline of work across the metro area.
The team is close-knit, around 20 staff. You'll deal directly with the owners, not layers of management. They're known for neat, high-quality finishes and look for people who take the same pride in their work.
The role
You'll be a senior, hands-on member of the residential team. You'll run small to medium jobs from start to finish, with the autonomy to manage your own day.
Typical work includes
- New homes, renovations and extensions
- Switchboard upgrades, rewires and fault finding
- Lighting, data and smart home installs
- Some light commercial work for variety
You'll also:
- Plan your own jobs, including materials, site requirements and timelines
- Mentor and train apprentices on the tools
- Deal directly with clients and builders
- Keep safety and compliance tight on every job

What you'll need
- 3+ years post-trade experience, with a solid residential background
- Unrestricted WA Electrical Workers Licence (A-Grade)
- Manual C-Class driver's licence and a White Card
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Good communication skills and a tidy, reliable approach
Nice to have
- First Aid, CPR and LV Rescue
- Working at Heights or EWP ticket
- Security, data or low-voltage experience
