About the role
As a GCorp Electrician, you'll be working across commercial and multi-residential projects, carrying out quality electrical installations from rough-in through to fit-off, testing and completion.
We're looking for Electricians who take pride in their work, know their trade and can work independently while being part of a strong site team.
Trade Assistants are also encouraged to apply, particularly those with construction experience who are looking to build their skills and progress into the electrical trade.
What you'll be doing
Electricians:
- Electrical installation across commercial and multi-residential projects
- Rough-in, fit-off, testing and commissioning
- Reading plans, drawings and specifications
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Working with other trades and site teams to keep projects moving
- Ensuring work is completed to Australian Standards and site requirements
- Maintaining a secure, clean and organised work area
- Working to project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Supporting apprentices and junior team members on site where required
Trade Assistants:
- Assisting Electricians with day-to-day site work
- Moving materials and preparing work areas
- Supporting rough-in and fit-off activities
- Keeping work areas clean and organised
- Following site safety requirements and instructions
- Learning on the job and developing electrical trade skills
What we're looking for
Electricians
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Overseas qualified electricians can apply
- Commercial or multi-residential experience preferred
- Good understanding of electrical standards and protected working practices
- Ability to read plans and work from drawings
- Confident using electrical tools and testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to work independently when required
- White Card and relevant site tickets
Trade Assistants
- Construction or electrical experience preferred
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
- Good attitude and ability to take direction
- Comfortable working on active construction sites
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet
- White Card
