We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Client’s Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ENMP), delivering critical telecommunications infrastructure upgrades and network modernisation projects across Australia.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a significant, multi-year program that will enhance the reliability, resilience and capability of our Client's national communications network, supporting mission-critical Air Navigation and Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting services, as well as future capabilities including CMATS and Remote Service Delivery.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will lead assigned projects through the delivery phase, managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks and dependencies. You will work closely with technical leads, internal stakeholders and managed service providers to ensure successful delivery of network modernisation initiatives in line with our Client's project management and technology frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of complex telecommunications and network modernisation projects within agreed scope, budget and timeframes.
- Manage project planning, work packages, dependencies, resource allocation and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate technical teams, project resources and managed service providers to achieve project outcomes.
- Manage project budgets, cost estimates, forecasts and financial reporting.
- Monitor project progress, deliverables, risks, issues and dependencies, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.




- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, governance documentation and reporting artefacts.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with technical and business stakeholders, vendors and senior management.
- Coordinate project stage-gate reviews and ensure compliance with project management frameworks and EPMO requirements.

Skills and Experience

- Minimum 10 years’ project management experience within Systems Engineering environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large, complex technology or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing managed service providers, third-party vendors and external delivery partners.
- Strong capability in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and governance.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, executives and senior stakeholders.
- Robust leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and drive project delivery in complex environments.
