We form part of the Workforce Branch which is responsible for delivering strategic and operational HR services for ONI. The role As an APS6 Recruitment Advisor, you will work closely with the business areas to manage their recruitment needs.
You will build strong partnerships with business areas, developing a comprehensive understanding of what they do and their personnel needs. You will collaborate with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies that support their requirements but also align with organisational objectives.
As a Recruitment Advisor, you will:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including managing the requisition process, posting jobs, facilitating interviews and managing candidate and selection panel expectations throughout the process.
- Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to understand and manage their establishment and ASL, and develop solutions to support their resourcing needs.
- Provide expert advice on recruitment best practices,
APS policy requirements, market trends, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Devise creative and innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Utilise recruitment technologies and platforms to streamline processes and enhance candidate experience.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment policies, procedures, and systems.
Key attributes Our successful applicant will have:
- Experience in APS recruitment, with a solid understanding of APS legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing creative recruitment strategies that yield successful outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Passion for recruitment and a commitment to delivering a positive experience for all stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
Mandatory requirement:
- You must hold an existing government security clearance and be willing to undergo a security clearance process.
