In this role, you will be at the centre of a energetic executive environment, managing the CEO's diary and email flow, coordinating briefings and meeting materials, overseeing executive tasks and information requests, and supporting the smooth operation of internal and external meetings. You will work closely with senior executive offices across the Department and government, and build strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

- Work collaboratively with the Manager and the OCEO team to ensure the CEO and VSBA executive team are effectively supported.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, highly organised and calm under pressure. You will be a natural problem solver with the ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and exercise excellent judgement in a sensitive and fast-moving environment. Just as importantly,

you will be a collaborative team member who is committed to supporting others and contributing positively to a small, high-performing team.

About You

You will bring

- proven experience providing high-level executive support to a senior executive, ideally in a government or similarly complex environment
- exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion
- strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a broad range of stakeholders
- resilience, initiative and a consistent, dependable approach to your work
- excellent judgement, strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
- the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a close-knit team
- proven capability in innovative thinking and problem-solving

Why join us? This is a rewarding opportunity to play an important role at the centre of executive support, where your contribution will be valued and your work will make a genuine difference. You will join a qualified and supportive team that works closely together, takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes, and values reliability, collaboration and initiative. In this role, you will have the chance to build strong relationships, work closely with senior leaders, and be part of a fast-moving and dynamic environment.
