MOM Darwin is looking for an experienced barista to join our cafe team for the wet season. Our café opens at 5:30am and runs into the afternoon. Shift times will vary with wet season demand, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable with early starts and a versatile roster.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve consistently great coffee and café food.
- Create a welcoming experience with friendly, attentive service.
- Stay organised and keep the café running smoothly during busy periods.
About you
- You’re an experienced barista with Barista and Food Handling certificates.
- You’re happy with early starts and a roster that changes with demand.
- You work well with people from different backgrounds and contribute to a welcoming, supportive team.
About us
MOM Darwin is a 400-bed backpacker hostel situated on Mitchell St. The newly renovated onsite café is looking to expand their team for a wet season position. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
