GM3 is inviting expressions of interest from experienced mining professionals for potential roles at Tahmoor Mine following the proposed recommencement of operations.
We are excited about the opportunity to support the next chapter of Tahmoor Mine and are looking for experienced people who would like to help build a safe, productive and sustainable operation.
Successful candidates for these roles will be employed by GM3 and are expected to be based at Tahmoor Mine following completion of the proposed acquisition.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the recommencement of a mine with a proud history, help rebuild operational capability and be part of a strong and experienced mining team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Compliance Superintendent, the Compliance Coordinator will support the effective implementation and maintenance of site governance, compliance and assurance systems at Tahmoor Mine This role is based at Tahmoor Mine, located in the Southern Highlands of NSW, approximately 80 kilometres south-west of Sydney and within easy commuting distance of Wollongong, the Macarthur region and surrounding communities.
Key activities include but are not limited to
- Coordinate and maintain site compliance, governance and assurance systems.
- Manage compliance registers, action tracking and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and support regulator inspections.
- Monitor corrective and preventative actions, ensuring timely close-out.
- Support compliance with legislative, regulatory and site obligations.
- Assist with the development, review and maintenance of policies, procedures and controlled documents.
- Prepare compliance reports, dashboards and performance metrics.
- Support risk management, incident action tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage with stakeholders across operations to promote compliance awareness and accountability.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of management systems and governance frameworks.
ABOUT YOU
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in compliance, governance, risk, audit or business systems coordination within mining, heavy industry or a similarly regulated workplace.
- Experience in Governance, Compliance, Risk Management and WHS or related discplines
- Experience coordinating audits, inspections, corrective actions and compliance programs.
- Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience maintaining management systems, registers and compliance documentation.
- Highly developed organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.
- Strong written communication and reporting capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with experience using compliance, risk or document management systems desirable.
- Ability to engage effectively with operational and corporate stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and achieving high standards of governance and compliance.
