Farm Hand A Mount Gambier Business are looking for a Farmhand. Position is initially 2-3 days per week.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Assisting the Farm Manager with day-to-day farming operations across several properties
- Supporting cattle operations, including mustering, yard work, drafting and general livestock care
- Assisting with feeding, checking livestock, monitoring water points and general animal welfare
- Helping with fencing repairs, current fence construction and property boundary maintenance
- Assisting with maintenance and repair of water infrastructure, including troughs, tanks, pipelines and pumps
- Operating farm vehicles and machinery under direction and in line with experience

Skills and Abilities:

- Cattle handling, mustering, yard work and general livestock care
- Previous experience in fencing repairs and new fence construction
- Ability to operating tractors, or other farm machinery
- Experience in Water systems maintenance, including troughs, tanks, and pumps
- General rural property maintenance
- Hold a current driver’s licence
