We’re representing an established Brisbane real estate agency looking to appoint an experienced Team Lead Property Manager to take a key position within its Property Management department.
This opportunity is suited to someone who wants to do more than simply manage a portfolio.
You’ll be joining the business as a senior presence within the team, combining hands-on Property Management with team support, mentoring, escalations and day-to-day leadership.
The business is looking for someone who can help create structure, maintain high standards and become a trusted point of contact for the wider Property Management team.
The Opportunity
You’ll work closely with senior management while taking responsibility for both your own portfolio and the performance and development of the team around you.
Your role will include:
- Providing day-to-day leadership to the Property Management team
- Mentoring and supporting Property Managers and junior staff
- Acting as a senior escalation point for landlords, tenants and complex matters
- Helping allocate workloads and maintain portfolio standards
- Supporting team members with difficult Property Management situations
- Driving accountability and consistency across the department
- Identifying areas where systems and processes can be improved
- Supporting the onboarding and development of new team members
- Maintaining strong relationships with key clients
- Managing your own residential portfolio
- Working alongside senior management on the continued development of the department
This is an opportunity to have genuine influence over how the team operates rather than simply stepping into an established portfolio and following existing processes.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced Property Management professional who naturally takes ownership and enjoys helping others perform at their best.
You may already be working as a Team Leader, Senior Property Manager, 2IC or Department Manager, or you may be an experienced Property Manager who is already performing leadership responsibilities without the formal title.
you’ll bring:
- Strong residential Property Management experience
- Previous mentoring or leadership exposure
- Confidence managing an end-to-end portfolio
- Current Queensland real estate registration
- Strong understanding of Queensland tenancy legislation
- Experience handling escalated landlord and tenant matters
- Strong communication and people-management skills
- Confidence making decisions independently
- The ability to coach, mentor and hold people accountable
- A proactive approach to improving processes and team performance
