Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Finance & Administration Officer supports the finance team in Tomago, ensuring efficient and compliant purchasing processes. Key responsibilities include managing purchase orders end-to-end, reviewing invoices, and reconciling customer and supplier accounts.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting suppliers in resolving any issues they may have with their invoices and / or payment terms
- Use the finance system for all processing, general accruals and financial reporting.
- Payroll processing and payroll queries from all BWIA sites
- Accounts Payable processing and Supplier Account enquiries
- Communicate with suppliers and clients through incoming and outgoing telephone inquiries relating to accounts.
- Check and code supplier invoices
- Using finance systems for all purchasing, invoicing, debtor's collection and general accruals.
- Assist with other clerical tasks as required.
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as required.
- Assist in data entry tasks and maintaining databases with updated information.
- Assist the Senior Finance and Administration Officer in special projects and initiatives.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in either Finance and/or Accounting
- At least 2 years of experience
- Experience in large complex environments desirable
- Profit/Loss, Balance sheet and Cashflow reporting
- Planning / Forecasting / Budgeting
- Accounting principles and concepts
- Financial / Data analysis
- Financial modelling
- IT applications - Advanced Excel (including PowerQuery), PowerPoint, Word, Access, Outlook
- Reporting/Budgeting systems experience desirable
