We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Fulfilment Officer (Transport) to join our Customer Fulfilment team at the Sunshine Sugar Refinery, in Harwood.
The role:
Reporting to the Customer Fulfilment Manager, this role is responsible for the day-to-day planning of the transport schedule for outbound granulated sugars, liquid sugars and syrups and inbound consumables. The position plays a critical role in ensuring customer requirements are met efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the distribution of sugar, liquid sugar and specialty syrups from the Harwood Refinery and external warehouses to the customer in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Direct trucks to their allotted loading locations using the radio
- Plan daily transport schedules for sugar, liquid sugar and specialty syrups
- Plan schedules for inbound deliveries
- Manage inventory, stock control and warehouse planning activities, including packaging materials and stock takes
- Process customer orders and maintain accurate production, inventory and operational records
- Build effective relationships with customers, transport providers, sales representatives and internal stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with safety and operational standards
- Relieve and cover other positions within the team as required
We are looking for:
- Experience in supply chain operations, production planning, production scheduling, warehousing or within a manufacturing environment
- Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience with inventory control and warehouse management processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting
- Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems such as Pronto
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team while also operating independently
- Knowledge of transport, logistics and warehousing operations will be highly regarded
