Additional Information
- These positions are temporary part-time roles, offering 40 hours per fortnight.
And will work on a rotating roster between 6:00am and 9:30pm.
- Positions available in early morning stock replenishment are a mix of permanent part time and temporary part-time contracts, offering 40 hours per fortnight. You will work on a rotating roster between 2am- 12pm.
- Availability to work 3 out of every 4 weekends, including both Saturday and Sunday
- The temporary contracts are scheduled to conclude in February 2027.
Recruitment process
- Shortlisted candidates will complete a video interview.
- To be considered for this role you will be required to attend a group interview on the 14th of October.
- If you are successful for this role, you will be required to attend a 2-day Welcome induction.
- November to January is one of IKEA's busiest trading periods. To support our customers during this time, we prefer co-workers not to plan holidays during these months and to maintain availability throughout the peak period.
ABOUT THIS WORK AREA
As a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Picking, packing and checking of products in line with in-store and/or online customer orders within set KPIs.
- Hand out Click & Collect orders, organise deliveries, and resolve order-related issues.
- Monitoring inventory levels, conducting stock counts and investigating discrepancies to help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Moving and handling goods safely using equipment such as pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
- Restocking furniture and home furnishing products, from smaller accessories through to larger flat-packed items.
- Using handheld devices and digital systems to manage stock movements and replenishment tasks.
- Maintaining clean, organised and safe warehouse and sales floor areas.
- Following IKEA safety procedures, operational standards and ways of working at all times.
We're looking for people who enjoy staying active, working as part of a team and delivering outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.
You are or have
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, replenishment, retail or other operational environments (highly regarded but not essential).
- A collaboratively mindset and can communicate confidently with co-workers across different teams.
- Strong attention to detail and takes pride in completing tasks accurately.
- A customer-focused approach, with strong customer service skills and a genuine motivation to create positive customer experiences.
- Organised, reliable and able to prioritise competing tasks effectively.
- Physically capable of repetitive lifting, manual handling, bending and moving stock safely throughout a shift.
- Comfortable using digital tools, handheld devices and inventory management systems.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and following established processes.
