$80,000 Plus Superannuation per year SUMMARY

Panania Pizza is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its busy pizza takeaway and retail food outlet in Panania NSW. The successful candidate will manage staff, stock and suppliers, sales and POS operations, service standards, budgeting and operational performance. This is a hands-on management role requiring strong leadership and the ability to maintain efficient operations and high customer service standards in a quick-paced retail environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pizza retail outlet, ensuring efficient service, smooth workflow and consistently high customer service standards.
- Determine the product range, stock levels and service standards in response to customer demand, sales trends and operational requirements.
- Manage the ordering and inventory of food ingredients, beverages, packaging and other retail supplies, maintaining appropriate stock levels and minimizing wastage.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers regarding product quality, pricing, availability and purchasing arrangements.
- Supervise, train and support retail staff, allocate duties, prepare staff rosters and monitor employee performance.
- Oversee point-of-sale operations, cash handling, daily sales reconciliations and accurate records of sales, stock and other financial transactions.
- Monitor sales, operating costs and business performance,



assist with budgeting and implement measures to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Set and review product pricing, meal deals and promotional offers having regard to costs, customer demand and market conditions.
- Plan and implement local advertising and promotional activities to increase sales, customer traffic and repeat business.
- Monitor customer service standards, respond to customer enquiries and complaints, and implement improvements to customer experience.
- Maintain appropriate presentation, cleanliness and organisation of the retail premises and ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements. REQUIRED SKILLS
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in retail management, takeaway food, fast food or similar customer-facing retail operations is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supervising and leading staff in a fast-paced retail food environment.
- Strong knowledge of staff rostering, stock control, purchasing, budgeting, pricing and day-to-day retail operations.
- Experience with POS systems, sales transactions, inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage busy trading periods while maintaining high customer service and operational standards.
- Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety, and applicable retail compliance requirements.
