With a five-year survival rate of only 22.3 per cent for brain cancer, Peace of Mind Foundation helps families navigate treatment options, financial support, and everyday challenges.

It is the only organisation of its kind in Australia offering one-on-one personal support to people affected by brain cancer. The foundation is entirely reliant on donations, partnerships, and community involvement through fundraising, donations, and volunteering.

Role Description The Fundraising, Growth & Engagement Coordinator will support the growth and long-term sustainability of Peace of Mind Foundation by building meaningful relationships with donors and supporters, strengthening donor stewardship and identifying opportunities to grow fundraising income and community engagement.

This remote work from home role will coordinate donor engagement and stewardship across one-off giving, regular giving, bequests, campaigns and community fundraising, while identifying opportunities for supporters to deepen their relationship with POMF over time.





Working closely with the Marketing & Fundraising Manager and broader POMF team, the coordinator will help plan fundraising campaigns, identify recent fundraising and partnership opportunities, develop donor communications, maintain accurate fundraising information and provide insights into fundraising performance.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and taking ideas from concept through to delivery.

Qualifications

- Experience in fundraising, donor engagement, marketing, communications, partnerships, community engagement or a related field.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong organisation and project coordination skills.
- Confidence working with databases, spreadsheets and digital systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Initiative and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
