Egritech is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Factory Hand to join our production team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, is willing to learn and is happy to pitch in wherever needed to help keep production moving.

Previous factory or manufacturing experience would be an advantage, but attitude, reliability and a willingness to work are equally important.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with general factory and production duties
- Prepare materials and components for production
- Assist tradespeople and other production team members as required
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Carry out basic assembly, cutting, grinding or finishing tasks where required
- Move and organise materials, components and finished products
- Keep work areas clean, organised and safe
- Assist with packing, loading and unloading
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Complete other general factory duties as required

About you

You do not need to know everything from day one,



but you do need to be willing to learn, turn up reliably and contribute to the team.

You will ideally have

- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Good practical and hands-on skills
- The ability to follow instructions
- Good attention to detail
- A willingness to learn new skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An understanding of workplace safety
- The physical ability to undertake hands-on factory work
- Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, warehousing, construction or a similar workplace would be an advantage

Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience and capability.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
