About you and this position

We are seeking a customer-focused problem solver to undertake a broad range of inspection, patrolling and compliance activities, working with residents to address animal management, fire management, and parking issues as well as interacting with rough sleepers, assisting in cemetery management and special events.

You will be working as part of a small and experienced team, to help educate, inform and keep the community safe.

Flexibility is important as the role will require early starts and late finishes at times and possibly some weekend work.





Your professionalism will promote Council’s reputation as a competent, efficient and courteous service provider, while maintaining a strong customer service focus.

As a successful candidate, you will have:

- Sound problem-solving skills.
- Sound written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to manage work priorities efficiently, with a strong customer service focus
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective team member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Animal handling skills
