About Youth HEAR
Youth HEAR is a young adult-led Australian for-purpose organisation that empowers young adults to combat hate through Holocaust education, commemoration and multicultural collaboration.
About the role
With our current General Manager going on parental leave at the end of this year, we’re looking for an experienced leader to step in and help carry this work forward.
- 12-month fixed-term contract, 3 days per week
- Based in Sydney (hybrid)
- Starting by mid-November 2026
You’ll oversee our NSW events and programs, support and lead our volunteer members, and chair our Management Committee.
About you
You’re an experienced operational leader who’s comfortable chairing meetings, supporting and leading people, and making decisions when they’re needed. You’ve delivered events or programs on time and on budget, you know how to work with volunteers and community partners,
and you can step into an established team and build trust quickly. Most of all, you care about standing up against hate and feel connected to our mission, values and vision.
