Central Coast Sports College (CCSC) specialises in providing innovative educational and sport programs to student athletes from Kindergarten to Year 12. Its purpose is to provide opportunities for CCSC student athletes to attempt challenging and new experiences within a safe environment that will develop their independence and personal skills. This is achieved through a passion for creating an inclusive community, focused on developing a student athlete through sport and academia.

CCSC is looking for innovative, energetic and inspirational staff to take up a full time position or 12 month contract from Term 1, 2027.
The successful candidate is a qualified teacher who is willing and able to deliver ‘Big Picture Learning' ( to senior student athletes (Years 7-12).
Qualifications and experience
University Degree in related teaching discipline – Bachelor of Teaching/Education
NESA accredited teacher status in NSW or equivalent
NSW Working with Children Check clearance
National Crime Check clearance
First aid Certificate
A high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher in Senior College cohorts (Years 7-12).
Knowledge and skills
A passionate, creative and self-motivated educator who values curiosity and creativity in the classroom
Interest or experience in teaching Big Picture Learning
Understanding or willingness to understandthe work of Alfie Kohn and Sean Covey
Strong communication and organisation skills
Experiencewith cross-curricular planning and delivery
Prioritises collaboration and student athlete wellbeing
Alignment with and active support for the ethos and values of the College
Personal attributes
Values a healthy lifestyle
A team player with creativity, drive and initiative
Ability to maintain effectiveness in a dynamicenvironment
Demonstrated high level of organisational skills
Enthusiasm and commitment to developing an authentic and nurturing relationship with student athletes and their families
