This role will provide culturally responsive mental health care to Aboriginal children, adolescents, and families.
Key responsibilities
- Delivers assessment, advocacy, counselling, and cultural leadership.
- Collaborates with services, supports staff, and ensures culturally protected practice, accountability, and improved wellbeing outcomes.
- Provides culturally informed engagement, assessment and interventions for Aboriginal children, young people and their families who are experiencing social and emotional health difficulties.
- Provides consultancy regarding professional and other matters.
What you need
- Ability to deliver culturally safe, trauma-informed care grounded in Aboriginal knowledge.
- Experience in engaging Aboriginal children, young people, and families.
