In this role you will assist the Management Accountant with meeting objectives and targets for the Civil Infrastructure team which is responsible for a variety of accounting, administration and finance functions.
The ROLE
- Ensures timely and effective reporting on Key Performance Indicators.
- Provides timely and accurate information to key stakeholders.
- Provides accounting and finance expertise to key stakeholders.
- In consultation with various internal resources, reviews financial systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvements.
- Processes internal and external recharges, journals and invoices.
- Delivers month end reporting to management.
- Provides input into statuatory reporting requirements.
- Supports the business with forecasting / budgeting requirements.
- Any other duties or tasks as reasonably directed.

About YOU
- Bachelor of Business, Finance or related discipline or equivelant experience.
- Studying towards or membership of the Certified Practicing Accountants Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and NZ (or intentions to follow this pathway).
- Experience with MS Office applications in particular MS Excel.
- Experience with general office administration, finance and accounting functions.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Commercially astute with a professional and positive attitude.
- Understanding of key accounting concepts and strong business acumen.
- Corporate systems knowledge and exposure.
- Current full working rights in Australia.
