We’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer to help take our brand to the next level. This is a hands-on design role covering a wide range of deliverables in an exciting, fast-moving environment. One day you might be designing assets for a new product launch, the next building social content, working on packaging, laying out a catalogue or updating our website; the work is incredibly varied.

You’ll report to our Marketing Manager and work closely with our Creative Director & Founder, Jon. We’re looking for someone with strong design fundamentals, a modern design eye, attention to detail, a willingness to learn and, most importantly, a burning passion to create great work that really resonates with our fans.

You will have your own high-end Macbook Pro, workstation with large monitors and access to a wide range of creative equipment and tools. The best creatives, need the best tools!

Key Responsibilities:

- Graphic Design: Create high-quality assets for both digital and print, maintaining a consistent visual identity that reflects Malosi’s quality, character and creative direction.

- Social Content: Create visual assets for organic social media that showcase our products, communicate the brand and engage our community. A strong understanding and appreciation of social media trends, formats and platforms is needed in this role.



We have built a huge following by creating engaging content that resonates with people across all platforms.

- Paid Advertising: Develop creative assets for digital and print advertising that capture attention, communicate clear messages and support campaign objectives. Refine designs based on feedback and results.

- Ecommerce: Create assets for email marketing and the website that communicate product benefits, support promotional activity and guide customers through the shopping experience.

- Retail Support: Support our sales team and retail partners with creative that presents our range clearly and strengthens Malosi’s presence across retail, wholesale and trade events.

- Packaging Design: Collaborate with the Founders on product artwork and packaging, translating creative direction into considered designs that meet production requirements.

- Brand Assets & Asset Management: Develop brand elements and templates that support consistent ad efficient production. Keep working files and finished assets organised and accessible to the wider team and collaborators. Ensure assets are efficient and well-optimised, with a strong understanding of file management and server best practices.

Your Skills & Experience:

- Passionate Creative: You love design, enjoy working across different types of creative projects and are keen to keep developing your skills.

- Design Skills: Strong foundation in graphic design, with good Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign skills. Experience working on Mac OS is preferred.

- Aesthetic Eye & Style: Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour, composition and contemporary design trends.

- Digital & Print: Understanding of designing and preparing artwork for both digital and print applications.

- Attention to Detail: You care about the small things and can consistently produce clean,



accurate and polished work with minimal mistakes.

- Organised: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.

- Social Media Guru: Positive understanding of major social platforms and how creative needs to adapt across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook.

- Collaborative: Comfortable taking direction and creative feedback, communicating with the wider team and contributing your own ideas.

- Adaptability: Willing to learn new tools, processes and skills as the role and brand continue to evolve.

- Experience: A qualification in graphic design or equivalent portfolio experience is preferred, but not necessary - show us your skills in your portfolio. Experience or a genuine interest in fishing, outdoor culture, action sports or youth brands is advantageous.

A strong portfolio showcasing your design ability is essential.
