The Opportunity

With significant institutional backing and an ambitious growth strategy, our client is regarded as a leading business within its sector. Operating in a high growth environment, the organisation is entering an exciting period of expansion through continued investment and growth initiatives.

They are looking to add to their high performing and critical finance function through the appointment of a Head of FP&A.; Reporting directly to the CFO, the role will be broad and exciting, with responsibility for leading the planning, forecasting and performance capability across the organisation.

The position will have significant exposure to the CEO, COO, Investments and broader leadership team, providing commercial insight and analysis to support key strategic and operational decisions. This is truly a rare, exciting and varied role for the right person.

The Challenge

Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, your responsibilities will include:

- Own the annual budget, long range plan and rolling forecast, providing clear visibility over future financial and operational performance.

- Establish high quality reporting across revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, capital expenditure and other key financial and operational metrics.

- Lead monthly management performance reporting and contribute to Board, shareholder, lender and investor reporting.

- Analyse performance against budget and forecast, providing meaningful insight into the key commercial and operational drivers of performance.

- Develop scenario and sensitivity models to support strategic planning, investment decisions and future growth initiatives.

- Partner closely with the CFO, CEO, COO and broader leadership team, providing commercial insight and challenging assumptions to support better decision making.





- Work closely with the Investments team to support acquisition and development opportunities, including financial modelling and investment analysis.

- Build and develop the FP&A; capability, establishing high standards across analysis, reporting, commercial insight and business partnering.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

- CA, CPA, CFA or equivalent qualification, with strong FP&A; or commercial finance experience.

- Ideally you are currently a Senior FP&A; Manager, Head of Commercial Finance, Senior Finance Manager or existing Head of FP&A; looking for an exciting high growth opportunity.

- Experience within a PE backed, acquisitive or high growth environment will be highly regarded.

- Multi site experience, ideally across property, infrastructure, retail, hospitality or consumer services, will be highly regarded.

- Advanced financial modelling, scenario analysis and driver based forecasting capability.

- Strong commercial understanding of EBITDA, cash flow, capital allocation and valuation drivers.

- Strong systems and data capability, with exposure to ERP implementation, reporting automation and business intelligence tools highly regarded.

- Excellent attention to detail and drive to succeed.
