We’re seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic ICT Support Technician (Level 1) to join CEHL and build a meaningful career with a stable, respected registered housing provider.

About the role The IT Support Technician (Level 1) provides first-line technical support to CEHL staff, delivering a responsive and customer-focused service experience. Working under the guidance of the ICT Manager and in collaboration with the Systems Administrator, the role logs, triages and resolves day-to-day IT issues, supports onboarding and offboarding,



maintains accurate documentation, and escalates incidents and service requests when required.

About you

You're naturally curious and enjoy learning about all things ICT related. You love helping people and can explain technical issues in a way that makes sense to everyone, regardless of their level of ICT knowledge. With experience using service desk and ticketing systems, you take a methodical approach to problem-solving and pay close attention to detail.

Most importantly, you're committed to delivering a positive customer experience and thrive in a busy, fast-moving environment To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in a customer service, service desk, desktop support or similar role (commercial experience desirable; trainees/entry-level candidates with strong practical skills will be considered).
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint) and the ability to support common end-user issues.
- Experience supporting laptops/desktops, monitors, mobile devices, printers and common peripherals, including basic troubleshooting and liaison with vendors where required.
- Awareness of IT security fundamentals (e.g., MFA, phishing, safe data handling)



and willingness to follow policies and report incidents promptly.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi‑Fi, LAN, VPN) and the ability to perform first-line checks and escalate where appropriate.
- Strong customer service approach, including clear communication, empathy and the ability to translate technical concepts into plain language
