The Opportunity

We are inviting qualified independent contractors (sole traders with an active ABN) to submit expressions of interest to support a female participant residing in Tarneit. The participant has complex care needs, specifically cerebral palsy and mental health challenges.

We require two reliable professionals to cover a comprehensive roster comprising both day shifts and inactive night shifts (sleepovers). Candidates must be comfortable staying in office overnight in an inactive capacity, remaining available only if an urgent need arises.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver tailored physical, emotional, and psychosocial support as an independent provider.
- Assist with complex daily living routines, including high-quality personal care, mobility management, and meal preparation during day hours.
- Provide passive overnight support during inactive sleepover shifts,



ensuring the participant’s safety and peace of mind.
- Implement trauma-informed and recovery-oriented strategies to assist the participant with mental health challenges.
- Provide reliable community access, transporting the participant to social activities and essential appointments.
- Maintain precise shift documentation to ensure seamless continuity of care across handovers.

Experience & Attributes

- 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in disability support or complex community care.
- Proven professional experience supporting individuals with cerebral palsy and complex mental health needs.
- Exceptional communication skills, emotional maturity, and absolute reliability.

8. Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
9. NDIS Orientation Modules (Safety, Quality and You)
10. Working with Children Check (WWCC)
11. Proof of Infection Control Training
12. Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle
13. Verified Proof of Right to Work in Australia
14. National Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)
15. Up-to-date COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
16. Certificate of Currency for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance
