About us:
Infrastructure Asset Management provides planning, construction, operation and maintenance of all physical facilities, engineering systems, plant, and equipment to meet strategic objectives within a quality environment including strategic planning and assessments of whole of life Asset Management.
Infrastructure Asset Management currently consist of skilled, operational, administrative and trade staff. The Trades include electrical, fitting, plumbing, painting and carpentry. These responsibilities are exercised through the management of in-house labour and the management and supervision of day labour and/or contractors where necessary to supplement in-house labour.

About your role:
- Provide responsible leadership in workflow management, staff development and training, mentoring, performance auditing, policy and procedure development and continuous improvement for the asset management activities across the Cairns and Hinterland HHS.
- Develop and implement a range of policies, systems and procedures to ensure the CHHHS asset management system delivers outcomes that align with strategic intentions, and that ensure risk and compliance is managed,
and value is derived from existing and proposed assets over the asset lifecycle.
- Develop asset management/maintenance decision support tools in line with ISO 55001, resulting in options and solutions for service delivery/infrastructure programs.
