About Superhero

Superhero is an award-winning Australian investment and superannuation platform built for the new generation of self-directed investors.

Today, we're proudly helping over 470,000 Australians reimagine their financial future and build real wealth on Superhero. We're looking for sharp, collaborative minds to support our mission of democratising investing.

About the role

We're looking for an Intermediate Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager to support the day-to-day management of Superhero's investment options. Reporting directly to the CIO, you'll manage the funds against their strategic and dynamic asset allocation targets, take the lead on their performance, risk and governance and contribute to asset allocation and portfolio construction discussions as the investment function grows.

This is a hands-on portfolio management role with real ownership from day one, and a genuine opportunity to help shape the investment function as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to portfolio construction decisions in support of the CIO, helping determine how underlying managers and asset classes combine to meet each fund's investment objective.
- Implement strategic and dynamic asset allocation decisions, including manager and ETF weighting changes, subscriptions, redemptions and rebalancing, end to end.
- Lead due diligence, selection and ongoing monitoring of underlying fund managers and ETFs, including formal reviews and recommendations to add, retain or remove exposures.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity across the fund, including settlement timing between ETF and managed fund legs.
- Contribute to asset allocation and portfolio construction discussions with the CIO, bringing data,

scenario analysis and recommendations.
- Own performance reporting and attribution for the fund, identifying the drivers of returns by asset class, manager and factor.
- Own risk analysis and the fund's risk monitoring framework, identifying emerging risks proactively rather than in response to breaches.
- Oversee the fund's investment stress testing program, designing and running scenarios and reporting outcomes to the CIO and board.
- Own the fund's investment governance framework as it relates to day-to-day management, including mandate compliance and due diligence documentation.
- Prepare Investment Committee and board papers covering fund performance, risk, positioning and manager reviews.
- Support and mentor the Junior Portfolio Manager as the team grows.

Required experience, qualifications and attributes

- 3+ years of relevant experience in portfolio management, asset allocation or investment strategy, ideally across multi-asset portfolios.
- Strong understanding of multi-asset portfolio construction, asset allocation and major asset classes.
- Demonstrated experience managing portfolios against risk parameters and investment guidelines.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with portfolio or risk management systems is advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills,

with the ability to work closely with the CIO and across the investment team.
- Ability to work independently in a high-growth environment with evolving processes and competing deadlines.
- CFA or progress toward a CFA (or equivalent) is advantageous but not essential.
