Inwards Goods Warehouse Supervisor – Full Time
Clontarf, Brisbane Northside | Monday to Friday
Lead from the Front – Hands-On Warehouse Supervision
Health Focus Manufacturers (HFM) is a proudly family-owned Australian manufacturer of cosmetics and personal care products, working with leading local and international brands from our Brisbane northside site.
We are seeking an experienced Inwards Goods Warehouse Supervisor to join our Operations team, reporting to the Operations Support Manager.
This is a hands-on supervisory role – not one for managing from behind a desk. You will lead by example alongside your team and work closely with Production, Quality and Supply Chain in a close-knit environment where everyone pitches in.
About the Role
You will oversee the safe, accurate and GMP-compliant receipt, storage, control and movement of raw materials and packaging components.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily inwards goods activities, working hands-on in receiving, checking, storing and moving materials.
- Ensure deliveries are thoroughly checked and accurately receipted into warehouse systems within agreed lead times.
- Maintain inventory control, including quarantine, traceability, expiry management, labelling, stocktakes and cycle counts.
- Coordinate picking and staging of materials to meet production requirements.
- Allocate daily tasks through toolbox meetings, ensuring SOPs, GMP and safety requirements are followed.
- Maintain GMP housekeeping, safe storage of dangerous goods and daily forklift and equipment checks.
- Assist in drafting and maintaining warehouse SOPs, CAPAs and Change Controls.
- Lead and champion the rollout of HFM's new MRP system across warehouse stock control processes.
- Onboard, train, mentor and develop warehouse team members.
- Drive continuous improvement and proactively communicate any risks to material supply or inventory integrity.
What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who combines strong warehouse experience with practical leadership skills – someone who leads by example, sweats the detail and brings the team along with them.
Ideally, you will have:
- 3–5 years' warehouse or stores experience, preferably in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading warehouse or stores teams.
- Current forklift licence.
- Experience with inbound goods, raw and packaging materials, inventory control and quarantine processes.
- Strong understanding of GMP, workplace safety and warehouse compliance.
- High attention to detail with solid organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
- A self-motivated, hands-on approach – and a true team player.
- MRP/ERP experience and knowledge of GHS and hazardous materials handling will be highly regarded.
Why Join HFM?
- Proudly family-owned business working with leading local and international brands.
- Growing company with ongoing investment in manufacturing capability.
- Supportive team environment built around Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Respect.
- A real opportunity to improve warehouse operations – we listen to ideas from the floor.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Regular staff appreciation events, team lunches, Friday morning teas and an annual Christmas celebration.
Ready to Lead from the Front? If you enjoy being hands-on, leading a team and making sure things get done properly, we'd like to hear from you.
At HFM, we value people who take ownership, support their team and take pride in getting it Right First Time. If that sounds like you, apply now with your resume and a short cover letter.
