The IT team plays a vital role in delivering secure, reliable, and innovative technology services that support the operations of the Australian Human Rights Commission. They manage the Commission's IT infrastructure, encompassing both cloud-based and on-premises systems, to ensure uninterrupted access to critical applications, network services, and data management platforms.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate IT Administrator to manage the Commission’s endpoint devices and identity systems to ensure secure, effective, and user-friendly technology experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Microsoft Intune to manage device deployment, configuration, and compliance, and for ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding of staff accounts. You will also have the opportunity to provide responsive, high- quality end-user support across the organisation, helping staff resolve everyday IT issues with professionalism and care.

This full-time ongoing position / non ongoing position offers a competitive salary range of $88,834 - $96,829 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation.

What You’ll Do:

- Administer and support the Microsoft 365 cloud environment, including user accounts, groups, licensing, and security configurations.
- Manage Intune for endpoint device administration, application deployment, and compliance enforcement across the organisation.
- Support SharePoint environment, including permissions and troubleshooting.
- Resolve support tickets related to systems,



including troubleshooting laptop and office IT equipment and meeting room issues.
- Administer Microsoft Teams including call flows, phone numbers, and meeting rooms.
- Maintain accurate system documentation and create user guides for common tasks.
- Manage onboarding and secure termination of user accounts across Entra ID and other key systems.
- Coordinate the preparation, delivery, and tracking of IT assets to remote staff, including return logistics for offboarded staff.
- Ensure device and account management practices are aligned with information security policies and APS standards.

What We’re Looking For:

- Demonstrated experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including Entra ID, Teams, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online.
- Hands-on experience managing Windows and iOS devices using Microsoft Intune, including device provisioning and software deployment.
- Proven experience providing service desk or help desk support to end users.
- Ability to effectively manage the workload, follow tasks through to completion, and remain adaptable in response to changing priorities.
- Proven ability to cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients across various functions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
