The key duties of the position include:

We are seeking experienced professionals to join various teams in our Enterprise Solutions and Technology business area.

As an IT Systems Administrator, you'll work in a dynamic and complex technological environment, supporting and administering systems and platforms across cloud-hosted, hybrid and on-premises environments. You’ll investigate and resolve complex operational and technological issues with contemporary solutions. You’ll analyse operating policies, and review and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies.

This includes deploying applications and systems into various environments that deliver changes to service levels and release schedules.

You will provide technical advice and support, collaborating with diverse business partners on various issues and solutions. You’ll also seek new and innovative ways to deliver quality technical outcomes.

Applications and technologies used across these roles may include:

- Cloud and Infrastructure: AWS and cloud-based platforms; Windows and Linux environments; container technologies and contemporary infrastructure services.
- Enterprise Platforms and Applications: Microsoft 365 technologies, digital experience platforms including Sitecore, and enterprise business applications.
- DevOps and Automation: PowerShell,



Python, Bash, DevOps tooling, automation solutions and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Data and Integration: Databases, analytics platforms and enterprise integration technologies.
- Security and Identity: Authentication, authorisation, identity and access management, and enterprise security technologies.
- Monitoring and Operations: IT service management, monitoring, observability and collaboration tools.
- Operating Systems and Networking: Windows, Linux, networking and server technologies.

- contributes to the administration, support and maintenance of applications, systems, networks and cloud-based environments
- manages incidents, service requests and change activities, applying established processes to achieve service outcomes
- investigates, analyses and resolves operational and technical issues, identifying risks and implementing appropriate solutions
- supports deployment, automation and continuous improvement activities to enhance system reliability and efficiency
- communicates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders,



providing advice and resolving complex issues
- collaborates with internal and external business partners to support service delivery and achieve organisational outcomes
- applies knowledge of system administration, identity and access management, monitoring and operational support practices to maintain secure and reliable services.

This recruitment process is being used to fill both ongoing and non-ongoing positions. Non-ongoing positions may be offered for up to 18 months.

Non-ongoing vacancies have the potential to become ongoing. These non-ongoing positions may become ongoing within the next 12 months. Should a position become ongoing then the merit pool established through this selection process may be used to fill the vacancy.
