The key duties of the position include:
We are seeking experienced professionals to join various teams in our Enterprise Solutions and Technology business area.
As an IT Systems Administrator, you'll work in a dynamic and complex technological environment, supporting and administering systems and platforms across cloud-hosted, hybrid and on-premises environments. You’ll investigate and resolve complex operational and technological issues with contemporary solutions. You’ll analyse operating policies, and review and adapt to current tools, technologies, and methodologies.
This includes deploying applications and systems into various environments that deliver changes to service levels and release schedules.
You will provide technical advice and support, collaborating with diverse business partners on various issues and solutions. You’ll also seek new and innovative ways to deliver quality technical outcomes.
Applications and technologies used across these roles may include:
- Cloud and Infrastructure: AWS and cloud-based platforms; Windows and Linux environments; container technologies and contemporary infrastructure services.
- Enterprise Platforms and Applications: Microsoft 365 technologies, digital experience platforms including Sitecore, and enterprise business applications.
- DevOps and Automation: PowerShell, Python, Bash, DevOps tooling, automation solutions and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Data and Integration: Databases, analytics platforms and enterprise integration technologies.
- Security and Identity: Authentication, authorisation, identity and access management, and enterprise security technologies.
- Monitoring and Operations: IT service management, monitoring, observability and collaboration tools.
- Operating Systems and Networking: Windows, Linux, networking and server technologies.
