IT Traineeship Within an School - North Sydney Location

Work full-time Monday to Friday and gain hands-on experience in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Please note: This is an entry-level traineeship position. Applicants who already hold a Diploma or higher in IT (or related fields) will not be eligible under traineeship requirements.

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable trainee to join the ICT team. This is a full-time traineeship that also allows 3 hours per week to complete your Certificate in IT as part of your workday.

This position is ideal for someone ready to learn and grow in a dynamic educational setting.

Schools offer a fantastic foundation for an IT career, and you’ll gain invaluable experience including:

- ICT help desk and face-to-face support

- Assisting students, teachers, and staff with technical issues

- Supporting the maintenance of IT infrastructure

- Using core office systems and software

- Participating in exciting ICT projects during school breaks

About YOU!

We’ll support you as you grow, but we’re looking for someone with:





- A quick grasp of technical tasks and strong troubleshooting skills (once trained)

- Excellent customer service experience – you take pride in helping people and being the friendly face of ICT
- A qualified and mature outlook – you're reliable, punctual, and well presented
- A genuine interest in technology and ICT systems

- Previous ICT-related school work placements (a plus, but not required)

- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
