GHR Accounting Group is a CPA practice based in Mona Vale on Sydney's Northern Beaches. We've been looking after individuals, families and small to medium businesses since the 1970s, across accounting, tax, SMSF administration and financial planning. We're a Xero Platinum practice and use Class Super for SMSF work, so you'll learn on the platforms the industry runs on.

We're growing, and we're looking for a junior accountant who wants to build a proper foundation in public practice.

What you'll be doing

You'll work alongside our senior accountants and learn the work from the ground up. Tasks will include:

- Working with clients to gather what we need for their returns and financials
- helping with financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts
- day-to-day administration that keeps client work moving
- liaising with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients
- setting up and maintaining Xero files
- preparing BAS and IAS returns
- assisting with FBT and payroll work

You won't be expected to know it all on day one. We'll teach you,



check your work and give you more responsibility as your confidence grows.

About you

- You've just completed, or are close to finishing, a degree in accounting, business or commerce
- You're interested in starting the CA or CPA program, or have already begun
- Some experience in an accounting practice is welcome, but not essential, attitude and aptitude matter most
- You pick things up quickly and like working out how the pieces fit together
- You communicate clearly, in writing and in person, and you listen well
- You're organised and can keep track of deadlines
- You enjoy being part of a small, friendly team
