About the role

As a Junior Development Engineer, under guidance you'll gain practical experience reviewing development applications, assessing engineering designs, and supporting the delivery of quality infrastructure outcomes. Working within a collaborative and experienced team, you'll develop your knowledge of development engineering, planning legislation, and sustainable development practices. Applicant Profile To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Currently completing Civil Engineering degree (3rd/4th yr) OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in Development Engineering.

- Hold a current Class C or Provisional P1 or Ps Driver's Licence

- Knowledge related to civil engineering design and land use development and a general knowledge of development and environmental planning

- An understanding and/or interpretation codes, policies and precures related to civil engineering for land use development

- Exposure to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act,



the Roads Act and the Local Government Act is required together with an awareness of other related environmental and planning legislations/regulations

Offer Details The commencing salary for this position is up to $80,030.20. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $92,727.03 on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation

- We have a temporary full time role available

- This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight

- We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 3 days onsite

- This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building
