- Seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Junior or Middle School Teacher
- 12-month fixed-term contract, commencing in January 2027
- Join a Supportive Community

We are a Uniting Church day and boarding school, established in 1923. We provide a caring community, underpinned by strong Christian values, within which our students and staff are encouraged to achieve their individual potential. Our commitment to equity and inclusion across race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, identity and experience drives us forward every day.

We have an exciting opportunity for a middle or upper primary Teacher to join our Junior or Middle School, teaching in our Year 3/4 or Year 5/6 team. Candidates with Year 3-6 teaching experience are encouraged to apply. This full-time, fixed-term position will commence Term 1, 2027.

Wesley College’s unique structure incorporates a Junior School (PK – Year 4) and Middle School for the adolescent years (Year 5 through to 8). We provide an environment of support and challenge that nurtures our students and facilitates their emerging independence. By developing strong relationships with each child, we offer learning environments and opportunities that meet the specific needs of each child.

Our community extends beyond the teacher and the student to the family, and we pride ourselves on having strong connections with all stakeholders.

As well as a focus on academic success for each child, we provide a wealth of cross-curricular, extra-curricular,

and multidisciplinary opportunities — both in classrooms and across our community.

Our ideal candidate will

- have the ability to teach Year 3 - 6;
- be a Tutor Teacher for a Year class managing the pastoral, behavioural, academic and social needs of a Tutor Group;

Significant participation in the pastoral, co-curricular and sporting life of the school is expected.

In addition to a vibrant and caring community as your work environment, our staff enjoy a range of rewarding benefits, including competitive remuneration, free parking and lunch provided daily, and a comprehensive employee wellbeing program.
