About the role
TRS Staffing is currently searching for an experienced Contract Administrator to provide in office commercial and contract administration support for a major construction project. The role will focus on contract compliance, change management, commercial processing, accurate record keeping and supporting the successful delivery of site works.
Duties and responsibilities
- Administer construction contracts in accordance with contractual requirements, project procedures and delegated authorities.
- Coordinate and maintain records for site instructions, variations, trend notices and change requests.
- Manage contract registers and support contractual notices, claims, extensions of time and formal correspondence.
- Validate contractor progress information and maintain accurate progress, payment and commercial records.
- Review payment claims and supporting documentation while assisting with budgets, forecasts and cost controls.
- Liaise with construction, engineering, project controls, procurement and contractor teams on commercial and contractual matters.
- Maintain accurate records, registers, meeting minutes and correspondence to support audit, claims and dispute resolution requirements.
Skills and experience required
- Previous experience in Contract Administration within construction, resources or major project environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, commercial administration and contractual compliance.
- Demonstrated experience with variations, change management, claims and contractual correspondence.
- Experience reviewing progress claims, payments, forecasts and commercial reporting.
- Strong record keeping, contract register management and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in a site-based project team.
