Title: Learning & Development Administrator
Type: Temporary | Immediate start through to the end of 2026
Hourly Rate: $50 per hour including superannuation
Location: North Melbourne | Hybrid, with 1-2 days working from home
Hours: Full-time | 8:30am - 4:00pm
? Who are we?
We’re partnering with an established not-for-profit organisation to find a Learning & Development Administrator for its Organisational Development team.
You’ll help keep learning activities running smoothly, from coordinating training sessions to maintaining accurate records in the learning management system. It’s a hands-on role with plenty of contact with employees, managers and training providers.
You’ll join a supportive team where you can learn from experienced OD professionals, contribute ideas and help make learning easier to access across the organisation.
? Who are you?
You’re a highly organised administrator with experience in learning, training or HR. You enjoy getting the details right, but you’re just as comfortable answering a learner’s question or following up with a busy manager.
You’ll bring
- Experience in an L&D;, training or HR administration role
- Hands-on experience using a learning management system
- Strong coordination skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working with data and producing reports, particularly in Excel
- A responsive, customer-focused approach
- Clear communication with employees, managers and external providers
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
Experience with Ausmed or mandatory training in a regulated environment would be helpful, but isn’t essential.
? Day to day
You’ll support the delivery and administration of learning across the organisation, including:
- Scheduling training sessions, workshops, webinars and onboarding activities
- Managing enrolments, cancellations, attendance and completions
- Maintaining learner profiles, course assignments and training records in the LMS
- Uploading learning content and providing first-level support with LMS access
- Preparing learner communications, materials and attendance records
- Running training and compliance reports
- Following up on mandatory training with employees and managers
- Responding to audit requests for accurate training records
- Liaising with facilitators, providers and internal stakeholders
- Helping improve learning administration processes
? What’s in your toolkit?
You can pick up a system quickly, keep track of the moving parts and make sure people get the information they need. You understand why accurate training records matter, particularly when compliance requests come in at short notice.
You’ll be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to work through existing data and processes, while bringing patience and care to every interaction.
✨ What’s in it for you?
- $50 per hour including superannuation
- Full time temporary assignment through to the end of 2026
- Hybrid working, with 1-2 days from home each week
- The chance to build your L&D; and LMS experience
- Exposure to Ausmed and compliance reporting
- Support from an experienced Organisational Development team
- Meaningful work within an established not-for-profit organisation
? Interested?
If you’re an organised L&D;, training or HR administrator who can get stuck in, support learners and keep the details on track, we’d love to hear from you.
