Learning Team Lead (Adult Learning)
We're seeking an experienced Learning Team Lead to design and deliver engaging education experiences that help members build confidence, improve understanding and make informed financial decisions. Working within a member-focused environment, you'll lead the development of learning strategies, education programs and content that supports members across key life stages, while coaching and uplifting learning capability across the organisation.
About the role:
- Lead the design and delivery of member education programs, learning journeys and supporting resources across the retain and retire lifecycle
- Apply adult learning principles to create engaging, accessible and user-friendly educational experiences
- Translate complex superannuation, retirement and financial concepts into clear, practical and engaging content
- Drive the development of digital learning, webinars, events and other education initiatives
- Provide thought leadership in learning, capability and education, establishing best practice standards and frameworks
- Partner with Product, Digital, Experience, Marketing and subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, compliant and aligned to business priorities
- Coach and develop learning capability across teams, embedding structured and evidence-based learning approaches
- Ensure education content remains current, accessible and aligned to regulatory requirements, product changes and member needs
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance member engagement and education outcomes
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing adult learning, education or instructional content
- Solid understanding of adult learning principles and their practical application
- Experience creating digital learning solutions, educational resources and multi-channel learning experiences
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences
- Proven experience influencing and collaborating across cross-functional teams
- Experience leading learning, education or capability initiatives and providing guidance to stakeholders
- Ability to balance member engagement, learning effectiveness, compliance and risk considerations
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in education, instructional design, communications or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
What will set you apart:
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering multi-faceted learning programs that drive capability development and measurable business outcomes.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop concepts and build compelling business cases and program scope from the ground up.
- Strong practical experience delivering learning initiatives in real-world organisational environments, with a focus on implementation, adoption and impact.
- Experience building organisational capability through a broad range of learning approaches, extending beyond traditional events, seminars and webinars.
- Experience within the superannuation industry is highly regarded. Candidates with broader financial services experience will also be considered, particularly those with exposure to highly regulated environments.
