This top-tier commercial law firm has a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional legal services across a range of complex practice areas. With offices around the world, the firm is widely recognised for its work across a range of sophisticated legal matters.
THE ROLE
This role sits within the firm's highly regarded Real Estate practice group, providing support to senior lawyers across the team. This is a parental leave contract through to January 2028, with the potential for the role to be extended or to transition into a permanent position at the end of the contract.
The role involves a strong level of client contact, so the successful candidate will be confident, professional and comfortable communicating directly with clients and managing their enquiries. Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Providing high-level legal support to senior lawyers and the wider Real Estate team
- Liaising confidently and professionally with clients on a regular basis
- End-to-end file and matter management
- Preparing legal documents, correspondence and presentations
- Managing client enquiries and following up on outstanding matters
- Assisting with billing,
invoicing and other administrative tasks
ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will be highly organised, confident and professional, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment. You will also have:
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant within a commercial law firm
- Previous experience supporting Partners or senior lawyers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and managing enquiries
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
