About the Role

As we scale, we're looking for a commercially minded legal generalist to become Hola Health's first in-house counsel. Working directly with our CEO on a fractional basis (2–3 days per week), you'll be the first point of contact across commercial, corporate and regulatory legal matters, with the judgement to bring in specialist external firms when needed.

This is a rare opportunity to build the legal function of a rapid-growing healthtech business from the ground up, with genuine influence and autonomy.

What You'll Do

- Draft, review and negotiate client, partnership and supplier contracts

- Advise on corporate governance, company policy and legal compliance

- Identify and manage regulatory risk relevant to a digital health business





- Support employment and ER matters in partnership with the People team

- Act as trusted legal advisor to the CEO, including on due diligence and fundraising activity

- Manage relationships with external legal firms for specialist matters

What We're Looking For

- Admitted legal practitioner in Australia with a current practising certificate

- 5+ years' post-admission experience, ideally including in-house or commercial roles

- Strong generalist commercial and contract law background

- Comfortable working autonomously in a lean, fast-paced environment

- Excellent stakeholder management and plain-English communication skills

- Experience in health, telehealth or another regulated digital services environment is a plus
