Position Overview: JB Civil Concreting – a Bathurst-based civil concreting business supporting construction work across the Central West region of New South Wales. As a Loader Operator at JB Civil Concreting, you will be responsible for safely operating loaders to move, load and position materials required for civil and concreting projects.

This position requires strong plant operating skills, safety awareness and the ability to work efficiently with site and construction teams. Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Prepare and position loaders for operation in accordance with site requirements and daily work plans.
- Operate loader controls to move, load, stockpile and place soil, aggregate, gravel, rubble and other materials used in civil and concreting works.
- Select, fit and remove loader attachments such as buckets and loading scoops as required for specific site tasks.
- Raise, lower and manipulate loader attachments using manual and hydraulic controls to complete loading and material-handling activities safely.
- Monitor plant operation and adjust speed, pressure and controls to maintain safe and efficient performance around workers, vehicles and site infrastructure.
- Work from site plans,



markers and verbal instructions to move and position materials in designated areas.
- Carry out daily pre-start and post-operational checks, including inspection of tyres, hydraulics, fluid levels, attachments and safety systems.
- Clean, lubricate and refuel loaders and perform minor adjustments or basic maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and company procedures.
- Report faults, damage or maintenance requirements promptly and ensure unsafe equipment is isolated from use where required.
- Assist with maintaining safe traffic flow, clean work areas and orderly stockpiles while coordinating with truck drivers, supervisors and other site personnel.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant qualification.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Loader Operator
- Demonstrated experience operating front-end loaders or similar earthmoving plant in civil, construction or related environments.
- Ability to complete pre-start checks, identify equipment faults and perform basic plant maintenance.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and safe plant operating procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow site plans, markers and verbal instructions.

Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $80,000 – $82,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
