About the role
Based in Welshpool and reporting to the National Logistics Manager the Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading the Perth Warehouse operation, ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable distribution of wine and beverage products throughout Western Australia.
This role is accountable for customer service performance, inventory accuracy, warehouse safety, team leadership, cost management and continuous improvement. The Warehouse Manager will build a high-performing team, embed operational discipline, and ensure the Perth operation consistently meets national standards while remaining responsive to the unique requirements of the Western Australian market.
The role is a key leadership position within the national logistics network and is expected to drive a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Key requirements
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Perth Warehouse, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused outcomes.
- Champion a proactive safety culture, maintaining WHS compliance, risk management and incident investigation processes.
- Oversee all warehousing activities including receipting, inventory control, replenishment,
picking and dispatch.
- Drive inventory accuracy through stocktaking, cycle counts, stock rotation and effective asset utilisation.
- Build, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
- Deliver service levels that meet or exceed customer expectations while effectively managing peak demand periods.
- Monitor budgets, labour and operating costs, identifying opportunities to improve productivity and reduce expenditure.
- Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Customer Service and Supply Chain teams to support business growth and operational excellence.
About You
You are a proven warehouse and logistics leader with experience managing safe, efficient and customer-focused operations. You have successfully led frontline teams, managed inventory and distribution activities, and delivered strong operational and financial outcomes.
A strong communicator with a continuous improvement mindset, you build effective stakeholder relationships and use technology and data to drive performance. Experience within FMCG, wine, beverage or food manufacturing environments will be highly regarded.
