Management Accountant, Canberra
$97,450 - $106,850 FTE per annum super salary packaging
Part time 0.50 FTE

The Management Accountant has a critical role in the financial management function supporting the Chief Operating Officer, and is responsible for providing accurate and timely financial support across budget consolidation, funding acquittals, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis:
- develop financial opportunity forecasting
- internal control management of financial functions (AP, AR, month end reconciliations)
- month end reporting
- financial reporting and analysis including annual financial statements
- monthly budget consolidation and cash flow management
- income management including funding and acquittals
- prepare PAYG and BAS statements
- payroll processing backup

About you
You are an experienced accountant or finance officer with a passion and commitment to supporting women experiencing vulnerability, discrimination and gender-based violence:
- identify as a woman,
trans or non-binary person
- hold post-secondary qualification in finance or accounting
- hold a current Working with Vulnerable People registration or eligibility to hold
- robust financial reporting, budgeting and acquittal experience
- excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- tech savviness
