Aertssen Machinery Services is proud to be part of the Aertssen Group, a family-owned business based in Belgium with over 60 years of history. Over the past 15 years, we have built a strong reputation in the Middle East with our state-of-the-art fleet of machinery, and we have offices in the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

We operate in two divisions: Heavy Lifting & Earthmoving, through which we carry out a wide range of diverse projects every day. Our Management Traineeship is designed to attract and develop high-potential young professionals who aspire to become future leaders within our organization. Over a 24-month period, you’ll gain hands-on experience, gain international exposure, and develop the strategic mindset needed to build a successful career in the Middle East and Asia.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The program consists of four six-month rotations within our core business areas. This will give you a broad perspective on our business operations:

- Commercial (6 months) Gain experience in sales, tenders, customer management, and contract negotiations
- Operations (6 months) Participate in project execution, planning, and the deployment of machinery on-site.
- Procurement / Supply Chain (6 months)



Develop expertise in supplier management, sourcing strategies, and cost optimization.
- Strategic Project Assignment (6 months) Lead or support a cross-functional project with a direct impact on business operations, such as expansion initiatives or operational improvement projects.

During the traineeship, you’ll work at various locations to develop an international mindset and cultural flexibility, including:
- UAE (headquarters / regional hub)
- Qatar (key operational market)
- Singapore (strategic international experience)
- Start date: January 2027

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Sciences, Industrial Engineering, or Business Engineering.
- A recent graduate or a professional at the start of his or her career with high potential.
- Strong interest in an international career.
- Interest in heavy equipment, particularly cranes, lifting equipment, and earthmoving machinery.
- Excellent command of English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with a particular focus on MS Excel.
- Flexible, driven, and eager to learn.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
