THE OPPORTUNITY

Ready to lead the technology operations function behind a critical energy business? We're seeking a commercially savvy and people-focused Digital & Technology Operations Manager to lead IT Operations, Infrastructure and Service Delivery across a complex enterprise environment. Reporting to the CIO, you'll drive operational excellence, technology strategy and secure, high-performing services that enable business success.

This is a key leadership role for a technology professional who enjoys building high-performing teams, influencing senior stakeholders and driving continuous improvement. You'll lead technical specialists, manage strategic technology partners and deliver initiatives that strengthen performance, security and service outcomes across the organisation.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Lead IT Operations, Infrastructure and Service Management functions.
- Develop and execute operational strategy, roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders to align technology services with organisational priorities.
- Drive service excellence through ITSM best practice, governance and performance reporting.
- Manage key vendor and managed service provider relationships.
- Oversee budgets, resource planning and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Lead technology projects and transformation programs.
- Ensure technology platforms remain secure, compliant and fit for purpose.
- Champion cloud, infrastructure, telecommunications and cybersecurity practices.
- Build and develop a high-performing team focused on collaboration, accountability and innovation.




- Engage with executive leaders, business units and external partners to influence outcomes.
- Deliver service improvements that enhance business performance and customer satisfaction.

ABOUT YOU

You're an experienced technology leader with a proven track record delivering secure, customer-focused IT services in complex environments. You combine strategic thinking with strong operational leadership and bring the commercial acumen to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

- Leadership experience across IT Operations, Infrastructure and Service Delivery.
- Solid knowledge of ITIL, ITSM frameworks and service management practices.
- Experience managing managed service providers and strategic vendor partnerships.
- Success delivering technology transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong financial, budgeting and resource management skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
- Exposure to cloud technologies, enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity.
- Energy sector experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
