Join Our Team as Manager - Safety Systems and Performance
Are you driven to help build a safe workplace for everyone? Our Safety and Wellbeing team are seeking a Manager - Safety Systems and Performance to lead the development, governance and continual improvement of the Institute's safety management systems, enterprise safety platforms and performance framework. In this role you will be responsible for driving safety initiatives, business improvement and data-informed decision-making to strengthen organisational capability and support the Institute's evolving needs.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in workplace health and safety, science, risk management, business systems or a related discipline, with substantial relevant experience in a complex or regulated organisation.
- Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and continually improving WHS management systems, frameworks, policies and processes.
- Strong capability in data analysis, performance reporting and translating complex information into clear insights and recommendations for senior decision-makers.
- Sound knowledge of contemporary WHS management principles and relevant legislative obligations, with the ability to translate requirements into practical organisational systems and controls.
- Demonstrated experience leading significant projects, business improvement or organisational change initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Highly developed strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver both planned strategic work and responsive high-level business support.
